Shuttle service to the River Rock Casino will soon be managed directly by the casino. Guests ride the shuttle to the casino in Geyserville. The change in shuttle operation is schedule to happen on Monday.

An eight year contact had come to an end with the former transportation broker. 23 shuttle busses were in service to the casino. However, with the contract ending, the casino decided it made more economic sense for them to manage the shuttle service themselves.

Visitors that are shuttled to the River Rock Casino come from the Bay Area. This includes Vallejo, San Francisco, Pleasanton, and San Jose.

With the change in shuttle service, it is expected that there will be more flexibility for guests. In addition there rates can be lowered as well. The change in operation is not expected to effect the guests at all.

With the change in service, guests will have newer coaches to ride on. Also the round trip ticket prices will be lowered from $2 to $4. The location will be the determining factor in the discounted rate. The cost of the new ticket will be between $6 and $10.
